I wish this wouldn’t bring tears to your eyes,
Yet, tears fall, for we are all bound to cry.
Tragedy stroke, hard to discuss,
Inevitably, tears are leaving us.

Equality, a dream we strive to see,
Yet, tears mingle with my plea.
Hope, a beacon in the darkest night,
Still, tears accompany its fragile light.
___
Love, a force that binds us tight,
But tears often cloud its sight.
Imagining her on the distant shore,
Brings tears, longing for her once more.
___
When we gather and reminisce today,
Wishing fervently she hadn’t gone away.
Unified in tears, we stand hand in hand,
Sharing the pain, hard to understand.
___
Yet amidst the sorrow, there's a ray,
Of hope, guiding us through this.
And in the joy of that promised day,
When reunited, tears will find their way.
___
Those witnessing your embrace so dear,
Will shed tears of joy, crystal clear.
For in our unity, in our shared pain,
We find comfort until you meet again.
