Stooped Old Duck
A poem by Anna Atsu
—…—…—…—…—…—…—…—…—…—…—…—…—…
Green Duck, undeterred, feathers unharmed
In the torrential storm, she remained — charmed
Wet arrows, like raindrops, sent away
Against the tempest of blond duck, she chose to stay
A palette of other colours, her spirit portrayed
In the face of against, she quietly swayed
Quacks of kindness echoed, louder than the shouts
In the garden…
