In the gaze of the mirror, a stern critic speaks.

It reveals nothing,

But a pitiful, immature face.

Mistakes magnified,

Every imperfection highlighted.

To face the world?

A seemingly insurmountable burden.

The weight of doubt carries a heavy load.

Retreat into solitude!

Caught in life.

Longing for qualities beyond reach.

Heart's desires drawn with painf…
