Cakes melt in transport, a sweet demise,

Words too, in politeness, meet their guise.

For in the facade of pleasantries told,

Honesty waits, the truth untold.

Like frosting softening under sun's warm glow,

Politeness melts, revealing what we know.

Beneath the layers of societal guise,

Lies the essence of truths we prize.
